It’s Makeover Monday, and today I’m stepping up yesterday’s Simple Sunday card with a few extra layers and plenty of sparkle!
I kept the beautiful butterflies as the focal point, but added two circle layers behind them to create more dimension and draw your eye to the center of the card. A touch of Silver Foil adds an elegant shine and coordinates beautifully with the silver details on the butterflies and sentiment.
I also changed the cardstock color, giving the card a fresh new look while still keeping the soft blues and greens from the original design. To finish it off, I scattered several rhinestones around the butterflies for just the right amount of sparkle.
I love how a few simple changes—extra layers, metallic accents, embellishments, and a new card base—can completely transform a card!
