For today’s Makeover Monday, I stepped up yesterday’s Simple Sunday card with a few beautiful details.
I used the Wrapped Greenery Stamp Set and kept the same warm fall colors of Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, and Cherry Cobbler. The greenery was heat embossed in gold and watercolored for a soft, elegant look.
To give the card a little more WOW, I added the Everyday Arches Dies to create the beautiful focal point. A piece of Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper adds another layer of color and pattern, while the Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots coordinate perfectly with the gold foil and ribbon.
I love how just a few extra layers and embellishments can completely change the look of a card!
I also stepped up the inside by adding the watercolored greenery along the bottom corner. It gives the inside a pretty finished look while still leaving plenty of room for a handwritten message.
