Welcome to Simple Sunday! The Hey Birthday Chick stamp set is a whimsical set that is sure to put a smile on your face. It includes several fun images and sentiments for many occasions.
I used very bright colors to create this birthday card. The Designer Series Paper is called Artistry Blooms.
The image is heat embossed in silver and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.
The inside is stamped several times with little touches of color added with the Stampin’ Blends Markers.
Here are the cutting dimensions:
- Card Base, Magenta Madness, 11 X 4-1/4, score at 5-1/2
- Basic White, 5-1/8 X 3-7/8
- Artistry Blooms, 5 X 3-3/4
- Magenta Madness, 4-1/8 X 2-7/8
- Whisper White, 4 X 2-3/4
- Pumpkin Pie, 2-1/4 X 5/8
- Basic White, scrap for tag
- Basic White, 5-1/8 X 3-7/8

I hope you check back tomorrow for Makeover Monday.

Hi Julie,
What is the technique to heat emboss the image edges. I’ve seen you do this before but I don’t know how you do it. I love the look!
Thank you, Julie,

Julie,
Thank you for your quick response. The part I don’t understand is how do just the edges
(and not the body) of the stamp get embossed?

Julie says
The stamp is only on the edges. Then I color the inside.
