It’s Makeover Monday, and today I’m taking yesterday’s Simple Sunday card featuring the Lily of the Valley Bundle and giving it a few extra special touches!
I kept the soft and pretty color combination of Barely Blush, Soft Sea Foam, and Basic White, but added several details to dress it up. A new Soft Sea Foam layer adds more definition, while the vellum oval die cut behind the flowers gives the focal point a soft, elegant look.
I also added a sentiment across the front, a pretty Barely Blush bow, and a scattering of rhinestones for just the right amount of sparkle. These simple additions really take the card to the next level without changing the overall delicate feel.
And I didn’t forget the inside! I stepped it up with coordinating layers, a birthday greeting, and another beautiful Lily of the Valley die cut to carry the design from the front of the card to the inside.
I love seeing how just a few extra details can transform a Simple Sunday design into something a little more special for Makeover Monday.
