HAPPY HOME BREAKFAST CLUB CARD

I am ready for Spring or at least Valentine’s Day!!  This morning’s Breakfast Club card is like a breath of fresh air.

JULIE’S TIPS:

  • Wipe the surface with a embossing buddy before stamping with Versa Mark to prevent attracting any unwanted embossing powder.
  • Use a piece of wax paper in-between the window frame and the silver foil paper so that it is easily removed from the die.
  • Corrugated paper works great for the window sill to add texture.
  • Save 15% when you bundle the Happy Home Stamp Set and the Hearth & Home Framelits.

PROJECT DIRECTIONS:

  • 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 Whisper White, scored at 4-1/4
  • 5-1/4 x 4 Pink Pirouette
  • 5 x 3-3/4 Whisper White, emboss with Brick Wall Embossing Folder
  • 3 x 3-1/4 Silver Foil, run through Big Shot with Window Framelit
  • 2-1/2 x 2-3/4 Shimmery White, stamp image with VersaMark and heat emboss with Silver Embossing Powder, color with Aqua Painter and Pear Pizzazz ink

BIRTHDAY BLOOMS STAMP A STACK

This is the second card that we made at my Stamp-a-Stack Class on Friday.  I believe this one is my favorite.  It features the beautiful and versatile Birthday Blooms Stamp Set.

I stamped the image with Versa Mark ink on Shimmery White card stock and heat set it will Silver Embossing Power.  To add life to the image, I colored the image with Aqua Painters using Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz ink.

JULIE’S TIPS:

  • Great card for mailing.  This card doesn’t require extra postage.
  • Make a stack of these at once to have on hand to mail in an instant.  They make beautiful birthday cards as well as sympathy, get well, thinking of you, etc.

GOING GLOBAL STAMP A STACK

Oh the possibilities with this set!!

Today I held a Stamp-a-Stack featuring all new stamp sets from our Occasions Catalog.  If you follow my blog, you will see that I don’t create many masculine cards.   My customers have asked for some cards for the males in their lives, so I forced myself to accommodate them.

Let me know what you think.

Here is a look at the inside:

BLOOMIN’ LOVE AND BLOOMIN’ HEART THINLITS DIES

Is is so hard to choose what products to use first with all of the awesome products now available in our new Occasions 2016 catalog.  But with Valentine’s Day only a month away, I decided to break open the Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set and the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies.

The stamp set and the dies are sold separately……or save 15% when you Bundle them!

My first club for January is this Monday.  Here is one of the cards for this month’s club.

I used the Heart Framelits and die cut the top layer as well as the card base.  I then sandwiched the Bloomin’ Heart die cut between the two layers.  I also used dimensionals to give it some depth.

Here is a look on the inside.

SNEAK PEAK BIRTHDAY BLOOMS

I can see lots of possibilities with this beautiful stamp set.  It is one of many on my “have to have” list.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper using VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  My favorite “go to” technique is watercoloring with Aqua Painters.  If you haven’t used them, give them a try.  They do take some getting use to.  So if you have tried them, don’t give up.  The key is to not have the brush too wet.
Here is a peak at the inside.
