Convention was awesome. It was so fun to hang out with some of the best ladies I have met through stamping. I will be posting some of the photos I took during the week in my upcoming posts. But for now, here is my swap.
Tomorrow is the beginning of a very busy week for me. I will be pulling together (along with the help of some very special friends) the final details for the Fall Weekend Crop that I am hosting this coming weekend.
I am offering four optional classes. Today’s post is the optional card class. I am really happy with the way these two cards turned out. What do you think?
I created designer paper by using the “berry” image from the Wonderous Wreath Stamp set. I stamped it a number of times on Cherry Cobbler CS in the Gold Encore Ink.
The wreath is first stamped in Gold Encore ink. The second “detailed” wreath image is gold embossed and the third image is in Cherry Cobbler.
I created the Merry Christmas banner by first stamping and then scoring about 1/4″ from each side of the sentiment, and then an additional score line 1/4″ away from the original score line on each side. I I then folded down the then the opposite way to look like a “z”.
Stampin’ Up’s Whisper White, Silver Embossing and Silver Glimmer Paper make this card “sparkle”. And better yet, the Silver Glimmer Paper and the Apothecary Accents Framelit Dies are on sale this week as part of the “Weekly Deals“.
If you attend my Breakfast Club Class this week, you will go home with a card that looks exactly like this. Even beginners are surprised!
As an added bonus, we lined the envelope with the Silver Foil Vellum Paper with the help of the Envelope Liner Dies #132172.
